When The Need For Change Becomes Self-Evident

There are times in human history when the need for change becomes so self-evident that change is not only assured but is only a matter of time. This is such a time! Today we need a totally different type of government system if we are to achieve the global institutions that we will need to meet our problems. With the global problems that we are facing we need to have available to us different global ways of resolving our problems.

Meeting our global problems would require different types of global institutions to exist at the same time and this would be achieved through a system of civil and political entrustments. Civil and political entrustments would be contractual governments that would entrust us together. This contractual form of entrusted government would provide us with a way of quickly establishing the types of governments that are desired by the public when and where they were needed.

Civil Trusts as Free Economic Entities (Zones)

Within my forthcoming book Cosmopoly the civil trusts that would provide the institutional foundation of Cooperativism would be separate and interdependent economies. Civil trusts would be free economic entities that would be formed to deal with all of the particular needs of various groups of people. Within civil trusts members would be able to manage their own entrusted economic relationships. Civil trusts would be free economic entities in which the entrusted membership would pay taxes as a group instead of as individuals.

A system of civil trusts would allow each group of people to collectively deal with providing for their own needs first. The membership of each civil trust would be able to service themselves before their having to collectively pay taxes to any higher levels of government. This would also provide those higher levels of government, the private sector and the non-profits, targeted communities for them to help support and invest in.

The reason civil trusts would be more free economic entities then free economic zones are because they would not be limited to any particular location. The membership of a civil trust could be from many different locations. What would make them members of the same civil trust would be their membership account with it. The membership account of a civil trust would be linked to the products that it would be entrusted to it. This means that no matter where a particular entrusted product was purchased it would be entrusted to the entrusted members that would purchases it.

Instead of Sovereignty Holding Territory Entrust

Within my forthcoming book “Cosmopoly” my system of entrusted government called Cooperativism would be based on the entrusted territory and resources that it’s civil, political, and state entrustments would have access to. Unlike the nation-state, which is based permanently on its own sovereign territory, the territory of an entrusted resources state and its institutions would only hold them entrust for the term of their entrustment.

A global ecological state would be a parallel state that would consist of the many natural resources state trusts of all of the many entrusted resources states that would be using its natural resources. The territory of every entrusted resources state would merge with one- another forming their own separate and global ecological state.

This would permit the natural resources state trusts of all of the entrusted resources states to not only support their own entrusted resources state, but also be members of an ecological-state that would be formed between them.

As the cooperative government process would increase and more nation states would be replaced with entrusted resources states, so would the amount of territory entrusted to the “planetary” ecological-state.

The ecological-state would represent all of the territory and natural resources of our planet. This would result in the gradual global entrustment of all of the earth’s territory into the global ecological-state making it the common property of us all.

[x] Protection from Corporations and Government

A parallel, entrusted government system next to our existing governments would provide us with an alternative government system capable of providing us with a personalized political and legal advocate that would be able to represent our interests and concerns to the government and corporate industries that we need to influence. This would give every entrusted person their own personal advocate and representative that could protect them from those that would do them harm.

An entrusted government would force the industries that want to do business with the entrusted consumers of a particular entrusted market to first have to entrust themselves to manage the market that they wish to enter before they would be allowed to do business with them.

Forcing industry to first have to agree with the entrusted conditions of the entrusted markets that they want to do business with would allow its entrusted consumers to determine the market and its direction. This would be able to protect us from corporate or government domination, which would allow the people to stand up to the power interests and take their countries back from corporate manipulators and their government enablers in a peaceful way through the market process.

[x] From Personalized Entrusted Governments to Collective Entrusted Governments

Within Cooperativism each person would have their own personalized entrusted government designed to deal directly with their personal concerns. This personalized entrusted government would entrust a person to many different civil trusts at the same time for their various personal turned common needs, wants, interests and concerns that they would share with others. Each person’s hired personal civil trustee would connect them with the various consumer and provider specialized civil trustees. Each person would then hire them to provide them with the products that they would require to meet their various needs, wants, interests, and concerns.

As a result of the social consumption patterns of each person’s personalized entrusted government, their shared common needs and wants with others would result in determining what kind of entrusted governments would develop. The entrusted government system would be constructed of various forms of social entrustment from personal to collective. This would make our personal entrustment with one another into our collective entrustments with each other making them the institutions of entrusted society.

[x] Credit Unions and Financial Investments

A credit union civil trust could be formed to independently finance a group of other civil trusts. These financial civil trusts could be given the ability to issue bonds for the various civil trusts that they would service as well as issue and sell stock in their industries just as corporations do now.

Being able to target investment toward the civil trusts that would have been formed to resolve their members’ concerns and interests would allow other civil trusts to fund investments in their undertakings. A credit union would be able to provide each civil trust with independent financial services for their members’ membership accounts. This would allow the members of civil trusts to self-finance their own activities to provide themselves with their own internal forms of investment.

[x] Generational Entrustment

Another example of social entrustment would be entrusting ourselves generationally. People have different needs at different times of their lives.  Entrusting the needs of each generation to self-government would allow each generation the function free from the excesses of previous generations. This would force each generation to live within its means, which would give succeeding generations a debt free future to build their lives on.

Civil trusts could be formed to provide for the needs of the young, beginning during a person’s school years. It would be able to follow them throughout their lives and change as their members changed.  Entrusting each generation with the capability to manage itself according to their own needs would allow them to change when the needs of their members required it. This would allow for the situations that occur during any period of time to be managed directly by those most affected by them.

Civil trusts could be formed to provide for the particular needs of the old as well as the young. The old have needs that are particular to them. Their needs would become a collective targeted market for the private sector providers to service as would be the case for the young.

[x] Medical Entrustment

An example of an entrusted form of self-government would be to socially entrust our medical industry. This would require that each medical condition be given its own civil trust consisting of all of the doctors, institutions, manufacturers, hospitals and patients involved with the condition. All of the various participants of a given medical condition would within their own civil trust have their own hired trustee to represent their interests and concerns to everyone else.

Since a civil trust would also be its own legislative body, the hired representatives of the doctors, institutions, manufacturers, hospitals and patients would be able to govern their relationships in the best interests of all concerned.

This would permit all of the members’ concerns with a medical condition to know the needs and capabilities of all those involved in its consumption and production. Medically it would bring together all of those involved with a particular medical condition which would help in tracking a condition, researching it and providing for its patients and healthcare providers.

This would place all medical conditions within their own civil trusts that together would be apart of a greater medical industry that could be self-supporting and self-governed by those most directly involved with each particular condition.

(pt30) the fifth part of the entrusted government system would be its political trusts

A system of social entrustment would be formed from the bottom-up and range from the lower level of local civil entrustment to the higher levels of political entrustment that the lower levels would hire to politically represent and organize them politically.

Political trusts would form the fifth part of the entrusted government system and would be provided by the fourth kind of social trustee, their political trustees. They would be political entrepreneurs that would both politically represent the political needs of one or more civil trusts as well as politically organize them into political trusts.

Political trusts would allow any public issue or concern that required a higher form of political representation or organization to politically entrust themselves with the level of government that they needed to effectively deal with the concerns that they had. The most attractive political trusts would grow and flourish while those that had failed to meet the needs of their people would dissolve as their membership would wane.

Political trusts would be able to organize their civil trusts into various political arrangements that they would like to have themselves entrusted into. These political trusts could form networks of civil trusts from local to regional to national and even transnational levels of entrustment that would be requested by their members.

(pt29) Managed Markets

(1d) Civil Markets…

Civil markets would form as a result of targeted markets becoming managed markets. A managed market would be a market designed to produce a desired result. It would be established to bring together the most optimal consumer with the most optimal producer.

[x] mutual support system

Managed markets would link the consumers with the producers into mutually supportive relationships where one would complement the other. They would be designed to give the consumer an input to the producer that is providing them with the product that they want.

Managed markets would be formed to insure the survival of the relationship that they were formed to provide. This would create a mutual support system where both the consumer and the producer would receive what they wanted from each other. The consumers and providers would be organized into a mutual support system in which they would work together in order to achieve each other’s needs. Consumers and producers would then be able to interact with one another in a fair and mutual supportive manner designed to maintain a healthy relationship between them.

Conducting their economic activity through civil accounts would allow the market relationship between producers and consumers to be managed to meet their account holder’s best expectations. It would also allow those that had the most interest in the outcome of a civil transaction to self-invest in them.   This would create a managed market system in which the producers and consumers of a given product would determine for themselves what kind of relationship they would form in order to achieve it.

[x] cooperative managed markets

Managed markets would be cooperative markets in which the producers would provide their consumers and the consumers would provide the producers with what they had agreed upon. The participants within managed markets would function cooperatively with one another in providing the each other with what they expected to get out of their exchange.

A managed market would be a cooperative market designed to maintain a managed relationship between its participants. This would create a relationship where the consumers would be responsible to the producers and the producers to their consumers for what they were providing to each other. This would allow the consumer and provider civil trustees to maintain the relationship between their civil clients by managing the conditions between them.

[x] consumer and producer civil trustees management

Consumer and provider specialized civil trustees would form managed markets that would bring together the producers and consumers of each public need and want. Consumer and provider specialized civil trustees would form managed markets that would pair off the civil accounts of consumers and providers for each of their common needs and wants.

The consumer and provider specialized civil trustees would make sure that the obligations of each of their civil clients’ transactions would be adhered to. The transactions within a managed market would insure that the mutual responsibility that their membership would have toward one another would be maintained. Every managed market would be managed by it’s own consumer and provider specialized civil trustees. Their duty would be to provide all of the partners within a managed market transaction with mutual satisfaction.

[x] create a cyclical relationship

Managed markets could be designed to create a cyclical relationship between the consumer of a particular product and its provider. Within a cyclical relationship, the consumer would have to regularly consume what their producers would provide for them. This would continue the product being provided and the relationship that made it possible. This would also create a system of risk-free managed markets in which market relationships between their consumers and producers would be continually managed for them.

[x] parallel managed markets within general markets

This managed market system would be a parallel market system within the greater general market of society. It would function autonomously as well as in concert with the greater general economy that it would be indirectly associated with. Managed markets could be used to provide a foundation upon which the larger general market would form itself. As a result of the economic activity provided by the managed markets of the parallel economy, they could also be used as an economic stimulus to the general market.  Managed markets could also be used as a means of directing the economic direction that a society would take. The stability of a managed market system would be able to bring confidence back to the over all market system.
