Cosmopoly Glossary

Civil Clients:

Within Cooperativism when people hire a personal civil trustee to politically represent them or to provide them with services they become their civil clients.

Civil Markets:

Civil markets are the mechanism through which entrusted exchanges within civil trusts would occur. They are extensions of the principals of Cooperativism and extend the nature of the cooperative relationship to the entrusted market relationships between entrusted members that would govern the entrusted exchanges between them. The specialized civil trustees would manage the civil markets within the civil trusts that they would form to do the job.

Civil Trust:

A civil trust is a social trust that would be a separate self-governing entity formed to bring all of those that have a stake in a concern or interest together.  A civil trust is formed to bring all of those that had a stake in a concern or interest together into a separate self-governing entity.

All civil trusts would be legislative entities designed to self-govern the thing that they were formed to provide for. While the specialized civil trustees would be the ones that would actually govern the civil trust, the membership of the civil trust would also provide an advisory function to the specialized civil trustees.

Civil Trust Accounts:

Within an entrusted government system all political, economic and social activities would be conducted through the civil trust accounts formed to promote particular activities between the people.

Civil trust accounts would be formed for each kind of product needed by a group of people. Civil trust accounts are formed to promote particular types of activities between the people. Civil accounts would determine the entrusted relationships needed between its members to promote the product that they wanted.

Civil Trustees:

Civil trustees are the people that would be hired by the members of a civil trust to manage it for them.  Civil trustees are the individuals that would be licensed government service providers that would form and hold in trust the civil trusts of the entrusted government system and manage them for their members.  Civil trustees are personal civil trustees that would politically represent the people that would hire them. They would also be specialized civil trustees that would issue the public with their civil accounts and form the civil trusts that they would manage.

Contractual Government:

Contractual governments are governments that have contracts between the governed and those that govern them. Those individuals that wish to receive particular types of services would sign a contract with a government service provider to provide them with the types of services that they wanted. Depending on the conditions of the government service contract that a person would sign with their government service provider, that person might have to provide certain types of voluntary services as a condition of their contract. If the conditions of the contract are not met, then the grieved party could sue the other party for damages. Once a person’s contractual obligations were ended, they would be free to discontinue their relationship with their existing contractual government and find a new contractual government that they felt would better provide them with the type of government that they were seeking for themselves.

Contractual Representation:

Contractual representation is a political representative that individuals would sign a contract with to provide them with a particular type of political representation. If the conditions of the contract are not met, then the grieved party could sue the other party for damages. This contractual political representation would last only as long as the length of the contract. Once the contract had expired a person would be free to sign a contract with a different contracted political representative.

Cooperative Governments:

Cooperative governments would be contractual governments. They would be made up of civil trusts designed to maintain the cooperative relationships used between them.  Cooperativism believes that all relationships are cooperative by nature and would, therefore, require cooperative governments designed to maintain the cooperative relationships between them.

Cooperative Markets:

A cooperative market is a market in which the producers and consumers interact in a cooperative way with one another.  Cooperativism believes that all relationships between people are conducted within cooperative markets where their value to one another would be determined by the desire that the participants would have for each other’s product or service.  Cooperative markets would be markets formed so that both the producers and consumers would together achieve what they both want from their exchange. Each civil trust would be created to maintain a cooperative market that would be formed so that both the producers and consumers would together achieve mutual satisfaction.

Cooperative Relationships:

Cooperativism believes that all relationships are cooperative by nature because they are only possible with the existence of others.  Cooperative relationships are formed as concentric relationships that begin with the personal relationships that a person has with someone else and then fans outward to include an ever-greater group of people and things until they encompass a full paradigm.

Cooperative Trusts:

A cooperative trust is any relationship that would be required between two or more people or things. Cooperativism believes that all human relationships form a cooperative trust between those involved.  All cooperative relationships create a cooperative trust among its participants. The foundation of Cooperativism is that all cooperative relationships form either informal or formal cooperative trusts.

Cooperativism:

Cooperativism is the belief that all relationships in life are cooperative by nature and, therefore, dependent on each other for their participants’ mutual existence. Cooperativism is the process of bringing together all types of human relationships, both natural and social as well as personal into cooperative arrangements where they would naturally self-regulate themselves.

Consumer-Based Governments:

A consumer-based government is an entrusted government system that would be the result of people availing themselves of government services.

Consumer Specialized Civil Trustees:

Consumer specialized civil trustees are trustees that would organize and represent the consumers of an entrusted society.  Consumer specialized civil trustees are the social entrepreneurs that would go pro-actively into various communities and organize them according to their common needs.  They would consolidate the consumers of a society into marketable arrangements where they would attract the private sector providers to service them.

Cosmopoly:

Cosmopoly is a political, social and personal state of being where each person sees him/herself as a citizen of the world. Socially and politically Cosmopoly would be a system composed of individuals that would voluntarily organize themselves into the types of social and government systems that they want to live under.

Cultural Globalization:

Cultural globalization is the creation of a culture based on having a global understanding and identity.

Dual State System:

A dual state system would be a state system that would have a natural and social component to it that would consist of two minor autonomous state trusts one natural and the other social.  Each autonomous state would be a component of the dual state that would govern its own resources state.  Both resources states would have to work together for the state to be able to function.  Both would have to work together for either of them to be able to achieve what they need to in order survive.

Entrustment:

The entrustment process would be a way of allowing the public to form themselves into self-governing entities with the ability to self-govern themselves. Entrustment would be formed and maintained by those that would use them. By entrusting relationships between people to promote particular types of activities would allow the public to create governments tailored to the specific needs of certain groups of people.

Entrusted Government System:

An entrusted government system would be a government system that would only consist of its own entrusted relationships. These entrusted relationships would be held within its civil trusts and their political associations.

Entrusted Relationships:

An entrusted relationship is one in which each person within the relationship would be entrusted with every other within the relationship to the degree that they would have entrusted themselves together for.

Entrusted Resources State:

An entrusted resources state would be the highest level of entrusted government. It would be a state system based on the entrusted resources of it own members. An entrusted resources state would be the major entrusted state system based on the entrustment of its territory and population on it.

The territory and population of an entrusted resources-state would consist of two sub-states known as its natural and social resources states trusts. These natural and social resources trusts would be in a symbiotic relationship with one another where each would need the other for both to be able to function.

Entrusted State:

An entrusted state would any state system that would only consist of entrusted resources, like an entrusted resources state or its natural and social resources state trusts and its political trusts.

Entrusted Society:

An entrusted society would be a society in which the relationships within it would all be entrusted relationships.

Formal Social Trusts:

Formal social trusts consist of the deliberate cooperative relationships entrusted between people and their institutions.

Government Service Brokers:

Government service brokers are individuals that would be licensed as political contractors designed to provide government services to the public.

Government Service Consumers:

Government Service Consumers are those people that receive government services.  For every government service that a person receives will make them a government services consumer.

Government Service Providers:

Government Service Providers are those businesses that provide government services to the members of a civil trust. Government services could be provided either internally or externally by the provider’s specialized civil trusts that would register, certify or license them for service to their civil clients.

Informal Social Trusts:

An informal social trust is formed whenever there is an unintentional relationship between individuals or the natural environment. Cooperativism would see all types of unintentional relationships as being informal relationships that would form informal social trusts.

Managed Markets:

Managed markets are deliberately formed markets that would bring together the consumers and providers of a given product. These managed markets would be formed by both the consumer and provider specialized civil trustees working together. Managed markets are markets that would be managed for those within it by those that they hire to do so. They would issue and hold entrust their members civil accounts for them. They would also negotiate with each other in the interests of their civil clients. The consumer would then hire for him or herself the government service providers that they felt best met their personal needs.

Membership Accounts:

Membership accounts are the initial personal accounts that a person would open with their personal civil trustee to become a member of the entrusted cooperative government system. A person’s membership account would include all of the various civil trust accounts issued to them for entrusting themselves within their civil trusts. All of the government service accounts that a person would entrust themselves with would become parts of a person’s membership account within the cooperative government.

Natural Resources:

All of the resources that are by nature the result of the natural existence are natural resources.

Natural Resources State Trusts:

All of the natural resources of an entrusted resources state would be held by its natural resources state trust.

Natural Resources Trust:

The natural resources of a natural resources state trust would consist of everything natural including human beings in our natural state of existence.

Within a natural resources state trust its natural resources would be able to determine its own use by the social systems and institutions of society that would wish to utilize them.

Parallel Government:

Parallel governments are governments that would exist next to existing governments. As well as providing an alternative government structure they could also be used to supplement and augment existing governments.

Personal Civil Trustees:

Personal civil trustees are the primary civil trustees of the entrusted government system because they would be the ones that the public would initially hire to receive their entrusted government services through.  A person’s personal civil trustee would be their personal government link to all of the other forms of entrustment that they would want to affiliate themselves with.  A person’s personal civil trustee would link him/her with the consumer or provider specialized civil trustees that could provide him/her with the government services that he or she wanted.

Political Cooperativism:

Political Cooperativism stresses the cooperative nature of entrusted politics and entrusted government and the political cooperative nature of voluntary cooperative political organizations.

Political Contractors:

Political Contractors are the civil trustees that function as social entrepreneurs, which would provide the entrusted public with the political structures that they want.

Political Marketplace:

A political marketplace is a market in which politicians, governments and political ideas would be marketed to the public for their selection. Within Cooperativism all social trustees would be hired by the public within the political marketplace to provide themselves with a kind of political arrangement that they wish to live under.

Political Monopoly:

A political monopoly exists when the fundamental structure of a political system remains the same regardless of the type of governments that govern it.

Political Trusts:

Political trusts within Cooperativism are social trusts that provide higher levels of political representation and association for the lower level civil trusts that would hire them.

Political Trustees:

Political trustees are the trustees that would form the higher-levels of entrusted government by forming political trusts when one or more civil trusts would require political representation or collective organization and would therefore, hire them to provide the type of political service they need.

Provider Specialized Civil Trustees:

Producer specialized civil trustees would be trustees that would organize and represent the producers of an entrusted society.  Provider specialized civil trustees would be social entrepreneurs that would go pro-actively into the various communities and organize the communities according to their capabilities. They would consolidate the producer and providers of a society so that they could form themselves into the marketable arrangements needed by the consumers of a civil trust.  If needed they would provide the government service providers needed from the private sector to service the needs of the public.

Service Brokers:

Service brokers are political contractors that would broker government services between the consumers and the providers.

Social Cooperativism:

Social Cooperativism is the promotion of cooperative ideas to the social relationships between people and their institutions.

Social Entrepreneurs:

Social entrepreneurs are individuals that would be licensed to provide government services to the public. They would function as private businesses that would be operating in a public capacity in order to provide government services to the public. Social entrepreneurs would be pro-active government service providers that would go into the community to provide the public with the government and other services that they require. In providing the pubic with the kind of government services that they need, these social entrepreneurs would both compete as well as cooperate with each other when required.

Social Resources:

All of the resources that are by nature the result of human processes would be social resources. Social resources would be all things that would be made by human beings.  Social resources are the social capabilities availability to a people that allows them to form their society.

Social Resources State Trusts:

All of the social resources of an entrusted resources state would be held by its social resources state trust.  The social resources trust is the second trust of the entrusted resources state system and would consist of all those things that are social in their nature.  A social resources trust would provide its entrusted resources state with a social arena in which its cooperative governments and their public service providers would market themselves to the public for acceptance.

Social Resources Trust:

The social resources state trust would consist of the civil and political trusts that would entrust the social relationships of the public. The civil and political trusts would voluntarily provide cooperative society with its civil institutions in the form of its civil and political trusts and the civil trustees that would form.

Social Trust:

A social trust is the entrusted mutual responsibility formed between two or more people in a social relationship.  Whenever we form any kind of relationship with each other a social trust is formed between us.  All social oriented development both personally and commonly with others create a social trust between its participants that would consist of their social relationships and responsibilities. Within Cooperativism our human relationships with one another form either implied or formal cooperative trusts between them.

Social Trustees:

Social trustees are the trustees that would form the formal social trusts and would hold them entrust with the membership that they would have been form for. Social trustees would have two forms, one as the civil trustees that would form and manage the affairs of their civil trusts and the other would be the political trustees that would manage the affairs of the political trusts hire by the civil trusts.

Specialized Civil Trustees:

Specialized civil trustees would provide the entrusted cooperative government needed to form and manage each civil trust account.

Specialized Consumer Civil Trustees:

Specialized consumer civil trustees would be trustees that would organize and represent the consumers of an entrusted society.

Specialized Producer Civil Trustees:

Specialized producer civil trustees would be trustees that would organize and represent the producers of an entrusted society.

State Trusts:

A state trust would be a trust formed to the level of a state where it would function autonomously from political trusts to entrusted resources state.

Targeted Markets:

Targeted markets are markets that are targeted by civil trust accounts according to the product wanted by their consumers to attract the necessary providers needed to service them.  Bundling of civil trust accounts would form a targeted market designed to attract government service providers from the private sector to service them.
