Personal Update

Dear reader, I have been having computer problems and it looks like I will have to take my computer in for servicing which apparently is a two-week process. Therefore, unfortunately, I will have to discontinue blogging for two-weeks until I get my computer back. But I will leave you with this thought, “ If you can imagine a better world you can make a better world”. Till next time!

with imagination, people can learn more, because for imagination you have no limit to think. thats why with imagination you can have a better experience to visualized different concepts that they are useful for our life.
imagining better world must be so good. for example In my dream I can imagine a beautiful world with no war with no useless thing like religion, full of art and architectures and different designs and enough loan for student that they want to go to different universities. any way what ever struggle that I have with different things I try to imagine it totally different way so I can see the other side of any problem with imagination that could help you to solve the problem… maybe this could be a good way to imagine something before making a decision…

Albert Einstein once said that “Imagination is more important than Knowledge”. Imagine is what gives us humans a world of endless possibilities. We can imagine a world of peace,Justice, and harmony. The nature of imagination is what triggers the mind to create the most ingenious things that are wonderful. We are gifted with a mind of creation and knowledge, and with a little imagination we can make anything better, but when we reach human limitations we must be wise to make it a reality.

I can imagine a world without war, without hunger, without pollution. Everyone aspires to be a better person under one belief. The thought of going hand in hand to fight for what is right, helping each other, and showing each other how to have a better life. Creating motivation and hope in each other to create better community. A better community creates a better nation, and a better nation creates a better world. :-)

Albert Einstein once said “Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.”

I feel that imagination does so much for humans; imagination can give us hope, allow us to take ourselves away from a certain place, situation and it gives us an infinite number of possibilities in reality.

I agree with Albert Einstein’s quote to a certain degree; I believe that knowledge and imagination share equal importance. This is because, without a proper understanding of concepts and the world, your imagination can be limited. But, if you’re informed about the world and educated, I feel that the flood gates will pour open with different imaginative thoughts!
“Even in the past, discoveries in sciences were not made without prior knowledge. Newton, Einstiene, and Gallelio all were capable and well learned people. Einstien’s greatest discovery of nuclear bomb, was not merely a piece of wandering imagination. In fact such an intricate mechanism cannot be developed without prior knowledge and observations.
Imagination does play its role in human progress, but it cannot work alone without prior knowledge.” (http://www.essayforum.com/writing-feedback-3/imagination-more-important-than-knowledge-sat-essay-1008/)
I feel that knowledge is necessary to some extent to be able to have the capacity and understanding to imagine so big, that it becomes something amazing!
An example of a piece of art that shows skewed imagination is the “Venus of Willendorf”. Yes, she serves a purpose to show fertility and the woman body. If they were educated, they might have created something that you could look at and really just be stunned. Yes, this piece of art makes you reflect back on the time in which they lived and how they saw women. But if those people were educated, they would be able to show us how they saw the world and if they questioned what was happening. A perfect example of art that required thinking and imagination would be the Hellenistic Period. This is due to the fact that after Alexander the Great, the Greeks began to question things. Art for them changed drastically, it went from a “classical contraposso”, depicting the ideal human, to an old woman, boxer etc…
Imagination can be the gateway, for some, to be creative. In my opinion, imagination fuels the human being to want to express themselves and how they perceive or “imagine” life, the world etc… Until the Greeks, vases weren’t just made out of necessity, they created stories on these vases and depicted images, which in turn showed how they really felt about themselves as a society.

And it just so happens that the Greeks were educated people.

    Imagination and knowledge coincide together!

The way I see it this statement can have its pros and cons. Yes if we have an imagination we can change the world, but it also has to do with the persons drive. You can imagine all you want about what you can do, but without that drive or passion you will never change anything, including yourself. On the other hand those with the time and passion can make a better world; even the smallest act can make a huge difference in our society. As it was once said, “Rome wasn’t built in a day,” and the world will not change overnight either. It will take time and effort for anyone to make a difference, but it can be done with a little imagination.

Life is baisically whatever you wan it to be, if you want to live life to the fullest you will make it happen, your going to have your adventures. If we want to live in peace, we would actually do something to stop the war, if we want to help the homeless we would not only donate material things but our time and effort. If we want to live a longer and healthier life style we would stop the littering, and put time into recycling. We’re the only ones in charge of our own destiny and we are also the only ones that can make a better world for us and the next generation to come! :)

  8. Ethige Silva says:

Life is a journey. We all have our own ups and downs. And it it is all up to you to create your own destiny. If you imagine for a better future and you work hard and keep believing in it eventually you will day by day approach it without even noticing. And you should never give up. Nothing is impossible if you keep trying and believe in it. Also Positive attitude matters.
