Determining the Nature of our Governments

We must determine the nature of our governments instead of our governments determining our natures. Therefore, we must begin to reorganize ourselves according to our common needs and wants. The problems that we have in common must determine the kinds of governments and services that we get. Governments must reflect our common concerns and interests.   In order to be able to determine the course that our governments will have to take, we need to be able to organize it according to our own needs.

Exactly. I understand where you’re comming from. It seems as if our government is making laws that is best for them and not for the common people. We, as a society, need to determine what needs government regulation and not the other way around. We are the majority. The government is merely a minority. As majority, we need to stand up and figure ourselves out before the government does it for us. Let’s step up.

I agree, we need to direct our government in the right direction. Our government has a system set up so that they can maintain the majority of power. We do have a little power but not enough to where we can control the government instead of them controlling us. People do not give up power and that is why it will be difficult for us to gain any power from our government.

The first thing we need to do as a people, is to educate ourselves better of whats going on around us. Most of us dont know the first thing about how our government works, the laws, and our rights as U.S. Citizens. The problem we have is that most people think that things will get better, or they will be catered to without making a conscious effort to change the system. Remember, WE have control over our government, if we can all become aware of our environment, assess our situation, and know which steps are necessary, that small group of elderly conservative men have no choice but to make changes.

It’s true that our government is not maintaining the needs of the people, but the people running the Government. The government is establish to provide the peoples needs and wants. Yet, the government can understand what the people want; since, the government has one method of solving problems within a nation. Ofcourse, their is a difference between wants and needs, and the people of a nation must see the importance of a nation, as well as the people runnig the government.

I completely agree with this how can the government work for us if we don’t even know what we need based on our personal situations. I hear a lot of complaining and people who think they are revolutionist by saying f*$k the system but there is nothing revolutionary about that. To be a true revolutionary one must recognize the issue and plan. The government is not working for us because we can’t seem to get organized. Until this happens, nothing will change.
