Banks and Us

The banks are holding us hostage to their bottom-line. Our current financial crisis has shown us that the banks that provide us with the currency that is the blood of our economy are into it for their own purposes.

What we need to do is to make the Federal Reserve Bank, which is a private bank and the one that feeds all of the other banks, our national bank owned and directed by us. Banks need to know that they are not there to do as they please at our expense, but instead that they are only there to work for us, because they have no function without us.

  1. Jason M (art 101) says:

We had a national bank at one point and Old Hickory (Andrew Jackson) did away with that. At this juncture, it may be time to try again. As stated, right now banks are simply a business and the main goal of most businesses is to make a profit. I do not know how the people could go about getting a national bank restored but I do know that if it did occur, we as a nation should know that caution needs to be observed. With a national bank, the nations financial power would lie in a single entity and foreign interests could concievably then control the government. What is agreed upon is that some change needs to be made and the sooner the better.
