(pt22) Civilly Institutionalizing Relationships Through Entrustment

(1c) Civil trusts…

Every type of social relationship that people want to maintain between themselves in order to consume and/or provide a particular product would be entrusted into its own civil trust that would be designed to administer its particular needs.

Cooperativism would create sustainable social relationships by entrusting people together into civil trusts in which they would be formed into cooperative relationships with one another for their mutual benefit. The cooperative relationships needed between people would be formed into civil trusts that would actually be cooperative trusts designed to maintain a particular kind of relationship. A civil trust would institutionalize those relationships with one another that people would have commonly entrusted to themselves.

Civil trusts would cooperatively organize our social and political relationships into entrusted relationships. The entrusted relationships would be relationships entrusted together to achieve a particular social purpose. Entrusted relationships would be based on the responsibility that the participants would have toward one another.

Entrusted government would be a system of civil trusts that would allow every kind of social relationship to be separately managed for its own participants by their own specialized civil trustees. A civil trust would be designed to maintain a self-regulating relationship that would be managed by its own specialized civil trustees. Within an entrusted government system each common problem of society would be civilly entrusted into its own civil trust by their own consumer and provider specialized civil trustees.

Together both the consumer and producer specialized civil trustees would manage the civil trust for their members’ interests. They would together maintain the civil trusts that would constitute the entrusted government system to service the needs and wants of their civil clients that they would then manage for them. This would allow each relationship to be governed independently for the benefit of those within the relationship.

(pt21) A system of social entrustment based on people’s common interests and concerns

(1b) Civil trusts…

In order to achieve our common interests and concerns within an entrusted system of government, people would form themselves into civil trusts that would be specifically designed to achieve their interests and concerns. This new entrusted system of civil trusts would allow people to organize their common interests and concerns into voluntary self-supporting and self-governing entrusted civil and political entities.

A system of social entrustment would be an entrustment process that would entrust the people’s common interests and concerns into civil trusts designed to service the needs and wants of their interests and concerns.

A civil trust would bring together those that had a need with those that could provide a service for that need. It would begin when the needs of the people would form the civil trusts that would be tailored to meet the people’s common needs and wants. All or some of the common needs and wants of the many interests and concerns of society could be given its own civil trust to develop and govern itself with.

An entrusted form of government would be a system of civil trusts where each type of need and want for each kind of interest and concern would have its own self-governing civil trust. Civil trusts would consist of those involved in the consumption and production of a common need or want and their civil trustees who would manage them. As these common needs and wants of people would change, so would the kinds of civil trusts needed to service them.

A system of civil trusts would concentrate our human capabilities by placing them into nurturing environments in which those most interested in a particular common idea would become members of the same civil trusts designed to provide for it.

(pt20) The Third Part of the Entrusted Government System, its Civil Trusts

(1a) Civil trusts…

The problem with our current society is that people have lost confidence in the institutions that they once believed in. What is needed is to bring back our belief in our institutions, in ourselves, and our relationships with one another. We need societies capable of instilling trust in one another and the transactions that we make between each other. This means that we need to know that the transactions that we are engaging in with each other are honest and fair.

Only when we can expect to receive from our exchange what we actually entered the relationship to receive will we have the confidence to openly and freely exchange our products with one another.  And this can only be achieved by institutionalizing our relationships with each other and entrusting ourselves to one another within civil trusts of our own making.

(pt19) Specialized Civil Trustees

(1b) Consumer and producer based specialized civil trustees…

Specialized civil trustees would be the ones that would create the actual physical infrastructure of the entrusted government system by forming its civil trusts. Specialized civil trustees would be the social entrepreneurs that would organize society into its interests and concerns. These interests and concerns would be met by providing for the needs and wants that it would take to achieve them. Specialized civil trustees would go into the community and assess the needs and wants of the public and divide them into their producers and consumers to be able to organize them accordingly.

Specialized civil trustees would come in two forms determined by their function within an entrusted government system.

(1)      The first form would be the consumption based specialized civil trustees that would be oriented around the public’s common needs and wants. Consumption based specialized civil trustees would organize the public needs and want around only those people that had them. The people that have needs within society would be seen as society’s consumers. The consumption based specialized civil trustees would consolidate all of the needs and wants of the public consumers into their own civil markets designed to attract the providers that they needed from the community’s own internal sources or from the private sector.

(2)      The second form would be the provider based specialized civil trustees, which would represent the producers of society that would supply the needs and wants of consumers of society. Provider based specialized civil trustees would bring the producers of society together to service its consumer’s needs and wants. Provider based specialized civil trustees would consolidated all of the producers of society together to provide for the civil markets formed by society’s consumers. The provider based specialized civil trustees could either supply a consumer group internally from members of the same community or they could be supplied from the outside by members of the private sector. The provider based specialized civil trustees would maintain the quality of the producers servicing society by certifying them as being fit to service the needs and wants of society’s consumers.

The consumption based specialized civil trustees would come together with their provider oriented civil trustee counterparts to form them into their own civil trusts.  Each civil trust would bring together the consumers and producers of society and give them each their own civil market to conduct their business with one another through.

(pt18) The Second Part of the Entrusted Government System, its Consumer and Producer Based Specialized Civil Trustees

(1a) Consumer and producer based specialized civil trustees…

Cooperativism sees all forms of social relationships and that includes social organizations as consisting of those that want a product and those that want to provide them with it. The political formations that would organize cooperative society would be provided within political Cooperativism, which would be the cooperative formation of the institutions of society.

Political Cooperativism would be applied to the public by three kinds of social entrepreneurs.

(1)      The first type of social entrepreneurs was explained in blog (pt13), and dealt with each person’s personal civil trustee, and how he would be their primary civil trustee because they would be the one that they would turn to for help.

(2)      The second type of social entrepreneurs would be the consumer and producer based specialized civil trustees that would provide a person with the entrusted affiliations that they would need in order to receive products that they wanted.

(3)      The third type of social entrepreneurs would be the political trustees that would be hired to politically represent people at particular functions or to politicallly arrange to achieve particular purposes.

All of these social entrepreneurs would be licensed to provide government service products to the public. These social entrepreneurs would be able to supply government services to people on an individual basis and then organize their similar needs and wants into their own entrusted governments.

Every person would participate within an entrusted system of government by hiring their own personal civil trustee who would become the person through which they would participate within cooperative society. In order to provide their civil clients with government products, a person’s personal civil trustees would link them to the various consumer and provider based specialized civil trustees that would be able to provide them with what they needed.

Specialized civil trustees as social entrepreneurs would be activists that would pro-actively go into the community to assess the needs of the public and then develop ways of dealing with them. Within political Cooperativism the specialized civil trustees would divide a community into its own consumers and providers according to their common needs and wants.

Specialized civil trustees would supply people with their selection of government service providers that they would have organized for them to choose from. Through the personalized government service product providers supplied to them by their specialized civil trustees, each person would select their own personal products.

Each person would then hire the government service providers that they needed to provide them with the kind of government services that they wanted from those supplied to them by their specialized civil trustees.  This would allow each person to construct the kind of government that they wanted for him or herself , one government service at a time.

Both the consumer and producer based specialized civil trustees would come together to entrust their members government service needs and capabilities into their own civil trust where they could self-manage their relationship.  These specialized civil trustees would compete with one another in providing the public with their common government services.  If a person felt that their government service providers were not providing them with the type of government services that they wished for, they would simply fire them and replace them with new ones that could.

(pt17) Personal Attorney able to Protect their Civil Clients

(1e) Personal civil trustees…

Another function of a person’s hired personal civil trustee, beyond being their political representative would be as their personal attorney. This means that a person’s personal civil trustee would be able to intercede on their civil clients behalf as well as politically represent their interests within the greater society.  A person’s personal civil trustee could also be the person’s personal advocate and someone that they would be able to go to, to intercede on their behalf for both personal as well as political reasons.

This would provide a person with someone on their side when they needed it. Each person would then have someone that they could go to, to assess any major purchases that they would undertake. Having a personal civil trustee would give a person the confidence to freely do business within the larger community because they would feel protected.  Giving a person a personal civil trustee would provide them with someone on their side that they could avail themselves of that would be able too protect them from corporate or government abuse that they felt they were being subjected to.

(pt16) Social Entrepreneurs as Government Service Providers

(1d) Personal civil trustees…

Cosmopoly would be about implementing Cooperativism in all of its forms. Within Cooperativism society would be seen as a social market. Within this social market, political relationships would be provided according to the tenants of political Cooperativism. Within political Cooperativism, politics would be provided to the public within a political marketplace in which the people would hire the social entrepreneurs that they need to provide them with the kind of government services that they want.

Political Cooperativism would be a system based on civil entrustments that would be organized in a cooperative manner. This system of civil entrustment would be provided by groups of social entrepreneurs that would act as government service brokers designed to provide government services to the public in the form of civil and political trusts.

Social entrepreneurs would be businesses that would be licensed to function in a government manner to provide the public with its government services. These social entrepreneurs would both cooperate and compete with each other in providing the public with their entrusted government services.

It would begin with providing political representation in order to present a common public problem. As each common public problem would develop, social entrepreneurs would be hired by the public to form either a civil or political trust for them depending on the purpose they are to be used for. This would also make each person the civil client of the personal civil trustee that they would hire.

Whenever a person had a need for some kind of government service, they would hire a personal civil trustee to provide them with the services that they wanted. Personal civil trustees would be social entrepreneurs that would provide the public with entrusted government service providers for them to choose from. Together these civil and political trusts would form the various institutions that would make-up the entrusted government system.

(pt15) Public Lobbying

(1c) Personal civil trustees…

When a group of people needed political representation over the long run on an issue of extreme importance to them, they would go to their personal civil trustee who would put them in contact with the political representative that was lobbying for the issue of concern to them. This ability of the people to lobby those that they wish to influence concerning the issues that they were personally interested in would also allow them to keep up the political pressure on those that they wish to influence which would permit the people to take a direct part in seeing to the resolution of their own problems.

A system of hired public lobbyists based around the public issues of concern to them would provide the people with a representative system that would allow them to pressure their lawmakers into doing what is right for the people that they are suppose to represent. This public lobbying would also keep lawmakers informed on how the people felt about them and the particular issues of concern to them. The forming of public lobbies in the United States for example would allow the people to check the interests of the corporate lobbyists that now dominate the agenda of our governments at all levels.

(pt14) Hiring our Own Personal Political Representative

(1b) Personal civil trustees…

Each personal civil trustee would provide their clients with a system of hired political representation for all of the various forms of government representation that they needed. A person’s personal representative would politically represent them at all levels of government that they would need to deal with as well as to the private industries that they would have to do business with.

Each personal civil trustee is a personal advocate and personal representative that would function in both private and political matters.  This would give each person within society their own personal representative that would be personally available to him and her. People would then have their own political representative to present their individual issues to those people and institutions of concern and interest to him or her.

A person’s personal advocate would politically represent their civil clients on only those issues of concern to them and then only when they wanted to politically participate.

Each person’s personal civil trustee would be their personal advocate and be able to provide their political clients with tailored political representation that would allow for a form of political participation to develop when the individual person wanted it.

Whenever someone wished to have their voice heard on an issue of importance to him, he would hire their personal civil trustee to link him together with all those that politically had the same issue of concern. This would make a person’s political participation count by adding their voice to those with the same feelings and concerns.

This would also allow all political participation to be hired when they were needed and by those individuals that had an interest in the political issue of concern to them. This direct form of hired political representation would also result in eliminating the need for a system of elections like we now have.

(pt13) The First Part of an Entrusted Government System, its Personal Civil Trustees

(1a) Personal civil trustees…

In a world of increasing complexity in which the individual person feels increasingly isolated and disempowered, an entrusted government system would give each person a personal advocate to whom he or she could go to for all things political, social and even personal.  Imagine a system where each person would have their own political advocate that would be at their disposal and would protect their personal interests as well as help them achieve their personal goals and aspirations. This system of organization would result in developing a state of Cosmopoly in which each person’s personal identity as well as their social and political affiliations would be the result of their own choices.

The unspoken secret that politicians do not want to hear is that people really do not want to have to politically participate in governance.  What people want is to have a system of government that works for them without their having to directly participate in its process.  What people really want is convenience and a system in which they would have to provide the least amount of personal participation in order to procure their own government services.  Because people really don’t like politics, I created my system based on hired personalized political representation and affiliation.

People would really like to receive their government services from only one person that would be personally responsible to them and to whom they would go for all of their government service needs. The one person that each person would be able to go to for their individual help would be their own personal civil trustee. These personal civil trustees would be social entrepreneurs that would be licensed to provide the public with augmented government services that would be tailored to their personal needs.

These personal civil trustees would be the ones that a person would go to when they needed government services or political representation as well as for their own personal legal protection. When a person hires a personal civil trustee, that person becomes a political client of the personal civil trustee.  The personal civil trustee would be the one that would connect a person with all of the other forms of entrusted government that they would be affiliated with. A person’s personal civil trustee would also provide their civil clients with their personalized government connection to the greater world.
