Political Entrustment As Buffer Political System

A personalized form of government would be one that could tailor itself around the needs of the person it was created to serve. It would be a buffer government system inserted between the people and the governments under whose jurisdiction they would reside. This buffer government system would be a political entrustment system that would politically represent the interests and concerns of people as well as help them obtain the types of services and products they needed. Political entrustment would be a system of privatized governments that people would hire to politically act in their behalf. Therefore, when a person had dealings with city, state or federal governments he or she would do it through their own personalized government provider hired to protect their interests.

First I would like to excuse myself for my long absence. Medical problems and a push to complete my book is what prevented me from my regular blogging.

What I want to begin with is both a continuation of my past blogs and a new way of describing my new political, social and economic system that I feel will give my readers a better understanding of it. I will be giving my opinion on issues of concern to me as well as on news events of interest to me.

I will also be responding as much as time allows on comments made on my blogs. I hope that you will find my new format and direct participation of greater interest.

I’m looking forward to be hearing from you!

Global Corporate Domination (part 7)

Our national governments as well as their institutions and industries are now all at the whim of global forces beyond their control. It is the global market, which rules the actions of nation states and their people. The global market has turned the people of nation states into a mere global labor source for corporations to hire to make their products with, as well as the consumer source that will eventually buy those same products.

Global Corporate Domination (part 4)

The greed and short sightedness of corporations has broken the national covenant between themselves and the people as the corporations have come to the realization that the interests of their so called national corporations that they work for and buy from are not one and the same as their own. Today the people have come to the realization that our personal needs and the needs of the corporations that we work for and buy from are not one and the same.

Global Corporate Domination (part 3)

Globalization has also created systemic changes within society as well as ourselves that will forever change the way that we will see our relationship with the corporations that eliminate our jobs and destroy our lives according to their profit needs instead of ours. The shifting of jobs from the high wage north to the low wage south to the many layoffs that have resulted because of the movement of corporations to less developed markets has brought into question the legitimacy of our current government’s ability to effectively protect their peoples’ interests and welfare from corporate domination and even abuse.

From National Differences To Human Variety

We are more similar than different. The various stages of human existence such as births, confirmations, marriage, and deaths are the same for all people and always have been. Our differences are how we celebrate and commemorate these events. These differences are personified by the languages we use, the foods that we eat, the music that we play and the songs that we sing as well as the dances that we do.

When looking at these perceived differences in terms of our common humanity instead of our alleged national differences, the fact becomes clear that these differences are really only cultural in nature and not actual. When we come to see ourselves in terms of our common humanity, our national differences will be seen as our human variety, which will lead to our global understanding of one another and the beginning of our global coming together.

From Cosmopoly To The Entrusted-State System

Many of my friends and colleagues have told me that my manuscript title of “Cosmopoly” was too difficult and did not convey the true spirit of my book.

In order to provide more clarity I have decided to rename my book “The Entrusted-State System”.

The essence of my book is to entrust the relationships of society so that that they can be counted on by the people within them.

The way that I would do this is to place all social relationships within voluntary civil and political trusts especially designed to maintain them.

Since my book is about social and political entrustment from personal entrustment to the formation of an entrusted-state, to rename it “The Entrusted-State System” is appropriate.

Globalization Is About Bring Us Together

Our problems are a result of our national forms of organization no longer being able to meet our current global needs. How we organize ourselves determines how we see ourselves. This then determines our relationships with one another. We now live in a world of differences based on nationality. Therefore, we identify ourselves in national terms, which tells us that we are different from each other.

To meet our common global needs in the future we need to live in a world where we see our similarities.  By living in a global world based on our similarities, we will then come to see that our differences are actually the variety that humanity has been able to produce. At the level of globalization our differences would first become our varieties and then our similarities. By seeing ourselves on a global level, we will come to see that we are interconnected and the sum total of all of our national and ethnic identities and cultural experiences.

Real Individuality

An individual within a natural environment may feel that they are functioning as an individual within the environment, but he or she is always limited by what the natural world can provide. What makes us human is our ability to transcend the natural environment by creating a social environment to replace it.

Within this social environment our human existence is formed and maintained by the images and objects we create to define our social existence.  Since our real individuality is dependent on the social environments that allow them to develop, maintaining the health of our social environments is paramount to our maintaining and developing our individuality.

Real individuality is only possible within a social environment because only a social environment provides a person with the social opportunities that allow him or her to develop their personal capabilities to the fullest. Therefore, those people that see their individuality as being separate from the greater society actually function as cancers that strip the vitality from society, which results in affecting its overall heath.

Our Global Problems Require Global Solutions

The problems that we are currently experiencing are global in nature, which require a global infrastructure to meet global solutions. We can no longer live in a finite world within political systems based on universal competition. We need to learn to live globally in a sustainable way in which we can grow in a responsible way within the limits provided to us by the natural environment that we all depend on. Global solutions require global institutions designed to deal with them. What I will be presenting in my next series of blogs are ways of creating the global institutions necessary to meet the global problems that we are now facing and that we are going to be increasingly facing in the future.
